Kate Lynch is a photojournalist, environmental portraitist and nature photographer, who has worked and exhibited in the U.S. Pacific Northwest and the Southwest. Her portrait work often centers on how people, flora and fauna interact with or influence places where they live and work. Her fine art photography pushes the limits of what we perceive as real through photo montage or illustration. She earned a bachelor of fine arts in photography from Arizona State University and a master of international administration from the SIT Graduate Institute in Vermont. She has taught classes and led workshops in photography, journalism, and cross-cultural communication. Kate is a member of Professional Photographers of Washington (PPW.org) and North American Nature Photography Association (NANPA.org). See her nature photography here: KateLynchPhotographs.com.
